Dune is the go to tool for the web3 Analytics there are other too for specific use-cases but dune serves the need and it’s free!
The best feature on Dune is that all the successful queries are public means anyone can see and read code for any query, and if you want to make you query private then you need to pay. that’s the business model so it gives advantage to people and you can always refer to other queries for help.
When you have made enough sensible queries and graphs then you need to combine the data and make a dashboard to see the data making sense and draw insights.
