Solana conducted Hacker House Dilli from 8th September to 11th September at JW Marriott, Aerocity, Dilli. Here, I will give you all the essential things whether you attended the event or not. Also, for the guys who didn’t know what Hacker house is, you are about to get a virtual tour.

What is a Hacker House, and why it’s Important?

The Solana Foundation x Jump Hacker House is a four-day offline event with in-person guidance from core Solana Labs engineers, as well as mentorship from other partners.

As per the event webiste, you can expect:

It is also a defacto place to meet people from the web3 industry as it is remote first in contrast to typical jobs you encounter. Meetings IRL in web3 are always huge Events. Hence, everyone attends them. You will find everyone you talk to or roast on Twitter, people from different DAOs to big web3 companies. There are developers, writers, designers, and BDs too. People hang out with the team members with whom they have been working for 3-4 months but have never seen their face IRL, and everyone refers/indentifies to each other by their web3 acronym. It’s pretty funny, though.

It is also worth noting that these events provide a lot more support to participants than hackathons. Hackathons are generally online & the primary focus is on building products that could become live working projects. Here you have a full spectrum of developers, including those writing their first-ever Solana program, with no pressure of having to show something immediately.
